Hello My Name Is...

Trudy Pfingston-Orr

I am a Colorado native and grew up just over the mountain in Salida. I began working at Lake School in 2008, first as an educational assistant in the preschool and later as a sped aid in the kindergarten. In 2014, I was hired as a preschool lead teacher. I currently teach a three-year-old class in the morning and four-year-old class in the afternoon. My goal is to provide a warm comfortable environment where children can learn and grow in all areas of development. I have incorporated my love of gardening, art, and nature into my teaching style. In doing so I hope to provide opportunities for children to gain familiarity and respect for nature and each other.
